Today, it is exactly twenty years since I moved out of my native country, The Netherlands. It’s not something I’d have recommended a chronically anxious autistic person to do (even less so move countries a few more times) but I did and here I am, still having fun. And writing, today, about The Klittens, five women from that country, making indiepop-but-slightly-edgier that I wish people made back when I lived there. After several singles, the band will release its debut album Have A Heart later this month, but until then, this 2024 song is my favourite of theirs.
